Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her Union Budget 2025 speech today announced a new tax slab that has been refreshed across the board. Under the new regime, there isΒ no tax on income up to Rs 12 lakh, and no tax on income up to Rs 12.75 lakh for salaried people, due to the standard deduction of Rs 75,000.
